This course is taught by NRA Certified Pistol Instructors and Qualified Maryland Handgun Instructors and will cover basic safety standards and procedures related to purchasing, owning, handling, possessing and shooting handguns.
Maryland Law is covered to meet the requirements set forth by the Code of Maryland Regulations for an individual to obtain their Maryland Handgun Qualification License - HQL. In total, this class exceeds Maryland's minimum requirements to qualify for an HQL in a friendly and relaxed, yet safe environment.
This class also meets and exceeds state Concealed Carry Permit training requirements for The State of Virginia. Students who successfully complete this course may receive a certificate to apply for a 30-State concealed carry permit with the State of Virginia for an additional fee.
